The online Prayer and Praise List at SBC is one way to ask our Lord for help through life's trials and to thank him for the blessings he provides for us. Submissions to this list will remain active for one month. Our congregation welcomes submissions from anyone in need of prayer or who would like us to celebrate a blessing with them.

- Please pray for Jennifer!
Jennifer, a former student of mine is in the hospital in Atlanta. Her body has started rejecting her organs from a prior lung transplant. Her family and doctors have decided that if nothing changes they are going to take her off of her life support on Wednesday. Please pray that the Lord restores her to full health!

Henry (Dutch) Jakeaway had a major stroke Thursday morning, 1 May. He is being sent to Emory today (2 May). He is in his mid to late forties and unmarried. Doctors have said that he may not walk again and only has one blood vessel feeding the brain. Please pray for his healing and family as well.

Please pray that my husband will join me in raising our children in a manner becoming and uplifting to Jesus. We are a young family and we need prayers for God to touch my husband as He has touched me in leading the family in a Godly way.

Daryl is leaving Monday, April 28th for an assignment in the Middle East. On behalf of Daryl, our four children, and myself, we'd greatly appreciate the prayers of others for his safety while there, for God to use him and his return home.

Brad Large is 47 yrs old and suffered a massive heart attack. He is in ICU at the Macon Medical Center.

Please pray for my family and me. My husband recently passed away at age 64. I am grieving for him, the life we had, and the grown children and young grandchildren who have lost the man who loved and supported them. I am having trouble finding the "good" in our loss.

I can't tell you what a blessing SBC has been to me! I am a Christian and long time member of a local church in LaGrange. Don't take SBC for granted, it's mighty hard to find a church today where the unbridled presence of the Lord is felt in the powerful way that it is at SBC. I receive CD's and DVD's, as well as listen to your Podcasts. Praise God for your ministry to attenders, but also to those listening from outside the walls of your church. Many people today hunger for the un-orchestrated, Holy Spirit lead worship services...and the anointed preaching that reaches the lost but that also ministers to and equips Christians who want to dig deeper and grow closer to the Lord. Praise God for the ministry of SBC.

I'm needing a financial break through, I know God knows my troubled heart and I know that He is my provider. I ask that you receive my prayer request. I have bills that are due on next week and I need a miracle that only God can provide. Please pray for my husband and I that our ever need is met.

I thank God for His hand being on my family during the recent tornado's in Tennessee. My daughter and my sisters and their families were in the storm and God laid his guiding hand on the tornado and caused it to go directly between the two homes they were in. I regret the others that were affected. It has also destroyed our church facilities (Sharon Baptist, Savannah, TN) but it has not destroyed our church body. Glory be to God! Sharon Baptist Church is still alive and adding to it's numbers. God is faithful and always in control. I am excited at what God has in store for us.

Our child married and moved away. They are attending a church that believes in a covenant theology. This concerns us greatly and is causing strife amongst us. We would appreciate prayer for them to see the truth and for us to trust God. He says in Prov 22:6 "Train up a child in the way he should go, when he is old, he will not depart from it." Both children were raised in the Christian faith and in Christian homes. Please pray for these two young people.

I am a former member of Bro. Jeff's Church, Sharon Baptist, on Feb. 5th an EF4 tornado hit our facility and did total destruction of our church buildings, our prayer chapel, our Christian Academy and Preschool. Please keep us in your prayers. A lot of Bro. Jeff's vision for our church got demolished but the body of Sharon still is here and we know God is going to richly bless us, please pray for wisdom for our church. My family loves Bro. Jeff and you are so blessed to have him.
