The online Prayer and Praise List at SBC is one way to ask our Lord for help through life's trials and to thank him for the blessings he provides for us. Submissions to this list will remain active for one month. Our congregation welcomes submissions from anyone in need of prayer or who would like us to celebrate a blessing with them.

- Protecting My son and Stepson
Dear God, I asked you to protect Amir and Joseph as they go off to college and their separte ways. I ask you God to keep them covered with the blood Of Jesus Christ. Also God I asked you not only for protection but for them to keep their mind on you Lord and for every decision in Life let it be your will God and not theirs. Please God don't let a weapon formed against them Prosper that goes for Teachers, friends, family, enemies, girls and let them have sexual purity. I pray that they remember their home training and to keep God first always. In your precious Name Amen

Mr. Luis V. Sr of Miami suffered a stroke. He is 82 and needs our prayers. I have been recently working with Luis V. Jr of Columbus, Mississippi. He also needs prayers trying to care for his father from afar.

Please pray for my cousin, Mike Holland. He lives in Denver, Col. He is in the last stages of a severe disease. The doctors have him in a medically induced coma due to the severity of the pain. Please pray for Mike and his family.

A couple of weeks ago I posted an urgent prayer request for baby Zoe. Much has happened in the past week or so. First, because of Zoe's condition and extreme swelling, there was some confusion of the baby's sex. Zoe is a boy. He has been off the ventilator (life support) since Monday afternoon and is still breathing on his own. Praise the Lord! God has answered our initial prayer for life. I ask you to continue to pray fervently for Zoe's healing. He still has a long road ahead and doctors reports are grim. But our God is more than able to do exceedingly abundantly more than we could ever expect or imagine! Pray believing! You will be blessed as you follow his progress. God is doing a great work.

I am a single parent of 4 children. I struggle every day financially to make ends meet and to be able to provide food on the table and to keep a roof over our head. It's a scary feeling that I deal with daily. My children are under constant stress by their father who has very high expectations of them, and if they don't do what he says, there is emotional difficulty. Dear Lord, please protect all of us and please bring peace to the equation. I fear for my kids. Please pray for us. Amen

Jim and Carmen Simpson have a new daughter with an urgent need for prayer. She was born 6 weeks early and weighs about 3 lbs. She has bleeding on her brain and swelling. She has been diagnosed with a condition called hydrops. They are a couple of amazing faith and I know God will receive all the glory in this. We pray believing for her healing. Please join with us. Lord I pray that you watch over each and every person that is on this list and anyone else that needs your help. Lord without you there is nothing we could accomplish. Lord thank you also for being in my life daily. The devil works so hard to get me. But with you right by my side he doesn't stand a chance. Thank you Lord for all that you have done for my family and I. Watch over my 2 boys Lord, my son who lives in Germany and my youngest son who is getting ready to join the Air Force. Please pray for Bro. Francisco, the Lord has just send him here to open a (christian) spanish radio station 87.7, for the hispanic comunity in Warner Robins. His wife and two daughters still in Tifton were they live. Pray that the Lord open the doors here for them and that the Lord bless him for what he is doing here for the lost.

Pray for Christian Ingram. He is 9 yrs old and has been diagnosed with Aplastic Anemia. The only treatment is a bone marrow transplant. His parents are Hardee and Johanna Ingram.

After reading the prior prayer request, mine seems so insignificant, however, I will be praying for all the others and hope the same will be said for me. My son has recently diagnosed bi-polar, and rightfully so, he gets it from my mother. Please pray for them, and me to be able to raise him with proper guidance. He does not know the Lord, and he desperately needs to find him. My family is also struggling financially. Please pray for my school to get funding. Please pray for us, it is so hard to live right now.

My cousin, Mike Holland, has Creutzfeldt-Jakobs Diease. This is a form of mad cow disease and has no cure. Doctors have given him 2-3 months at most to live. Praise God he is a Christian.

My mother who has suffered from Bipolar & depression for several years now, tried to take her own life tonight.She is stabilized, but still on life support at this time. Please keep her in your prayers that God will get her through this and heal her from this horrible disease that has taken over her life. Please pray for God to give me strength to be more understanding of this illness. I pray she will turn to the Lord for healing and repentance & stop trusting in the doctors/ medication that has taken such control over her life.

My grown son and his girlfriend w/baby live in town while I (his mom) lives in La. I'm trying to encourage them to visit your church,(they live behind your church) I visit them several times a year and have wanted to visit your church while I'm in town, (it takes me 9 hrs to make the drive) they both desperately need a church family, my son is a christian but has grown away from The Lord in his relationship with Him. I am involved at my home church and they visit here and my church when they come (its a requirement from me), they don't seem to mind. They need a visit from someone, they are not outgoing people until they feel welcome or get to know people. Please pray for both of them to learn to trust The Lord and put their faith in Him. I remind them, He is the only way....
